We want everyone who coaches, plays or follows basketball to be able to use PeachCut, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion. This statement covers peachcut.com and the PeachCut app.

Standard and status

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. PeachCut partially conforms: most of it meets the standard, the parts below do not yet.

What already works

• Pages use real headings, landmarks and labelled forms; every app page has a "skip to content" link.
• Form errors are shown next to the field, in text, and announced to screen readers. Nothing depends on colour alone.
• Sign-up, login, password reset and account deletion work without JavaScript.
• Text can be zoomed to 200% and the layout adapts to the screen width.
• The landing page respects your system's "reduce motion" setting.
• "Pause motion" at the bottom of the landing page stops every video, loop and animation that moves on its own. The page remembers the choice on your next visit.
• Basket clips have no spoken content; the reels carry only the game sound.

Known limitations

• The timeline in the editor is built for mouse and touch. Trimming a clip by keyboard is possible but slow. We are adding keyboard shortcuts and number fields for start and end times.
• Some small labels in the app and on the landing page do not yet reach the 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
• Some decorative video and image elements on the landing page still need their text alternatives reviewed.

We plan to fix these by 31 December 2026 and will update this page as we do.

If something stops you from using PeachCut, or you need content in another format, write to accessibility@peachcut.com. Tell us the page and what happened. We reply within 5 working days and, where we cannot fix it quickly, help you get the result another way, for example by cutting the reel for you.

How we checked

This statement was prepared on 4 October 2026 from a self-assessment by the PeachCut team against WCAG 2.2 AA, with automated checks. A full test with screen readers and keyboard-only use is planned before 31 December 2026.
