What's new
PeachCut is in beta. The changes that matter to you, newest first.
-
The shared game page plays the highlight
A game's public page now plays the highlight reel instead of the whole game, with every basket listed next to it.
-
PeachCut in Bulgarian
The website, the legal pages and the sign-up, log-in and password forms are now in Bulgarian too. Headlines use a font with proper Cyrillic letters.
-
Share any finished game
Every finished game has a public page you can send to players and parents; they don't need an account to watch. The site is also easier to use with a keyboard.
-
Pause motion
A Pause motion button in the website's footer stops the videos and animations on the page. Your browser remembers the choice for the next visit.
-
One cookie banner, with a real No
The website and the app share one cookie banner. Reject is as easy as Accept, and Cookie settings in the footer lets you change your answer at any time.
-
Try PeachCut on a demo game
A new account starts with two finished demo games you can open right away. They don't count towards your beta games.
-
Create your own account
Anyone can sign up with an email address and confirm it by email. You can reset a forgotten password and delete your account yourself.
-
Games are ready much sooner
Reading the scoreboard of a two-hour game now takes about two minutes instead of seven and a half, with the same baskets found.
-
A feedback button on every page
When you are logged in, a feedback bubble sits in the corner of every page. Write a note, add screenshots, and we see which game you were on.
-
No more reading a blurry 360p copy
When YouTube hands over a 360p copy, PeachCut fetches the 720p one instead, and uploads below 720p are refused. YouTube games take the team names from the video title; uploads start as Home and Away.
-
Fix your own games
You can correct a score, add a missed basket, delete a wrong one and rename the teams on your own games.
-
A new editor
The editor shows your reel and the full game on two lanes. Keep or drop a basket with one click and drag a clip's edges to trim it.
-
Fewer missed baskets
On some scoreboards PeachCut now reads a close-up of the score, so baskets are no longer missed or bunched together when a digit is hard to read.
-
New scoreboards are learned automatically
When a game has a scoreboard PeachCut hasn't seen before, it works out where the score sits and checks itself before reading the game.
-
An AI vision model reads the scoreboard
The score is now read by an AI vision model instead of classic text recognition, with far fewer wrong scores on coloured scoreboards.
