the people behind it

Made by people who sit in those halls.

PeachCut is made in Bulgaria by people who spend their evenings in league halls and wanted the baskets without the night of scrubbing.

One team, one question.

It started with one Bulgarian league team and one question: why does every basket from a two-hour stream need an editor and a night of scrubbing? If the score is on screen, a program can find them.

So PeachCut reads the scoreboard, cuts a clip around every change of the score and leaves every decision to you. It does not recognise faces or players, and it never changes your footage. Every game on this site is real and was cut by PeachCut itself.

Three rules it keeps.

Your footage stays yours.

PeachCut cuts clips out of the game you give it. It never re-encodes your original, never adds a logo and never posts anything for you.

No faces, no players.

It reads only the scoreboard. It does not recognise people, and a player's reel is made by ticking baskets by hand.

Every decision is yours.

Every basket it finds is a suggestion. You keep it, drop it, stretch it or fix the score. The reel is only what you kept.

Ten of the halls it has already read.

A school gym or a TV arena, a camera on the balcony or one at the end line, a broadcast graphic or a home-made score bug. If the score is on screen, PeachCut reads it.

How it got here.

  1. The first league games read.Three scoreboards, a season of one team, and the first reels that needed no editor.
  2. An AI vision model reads the score.Fewer wrong digits on coloured scoreboards, and every read becomes training data.
  3. A new editor, scoreboards learned on their own.Two lanes, drag to trim, and a scoreboard PeachCut has never seen is worked out before the game is read.
  4. Two minutes a game.A two-hour stream is read in about two minutes instead of seven, with the same baskets found.
  5. Open to everyone.Sign up yourself, a public page for every finished game, the demo editor, and PeachCut in Bulgarian.
